Corporate and physical security consultant and instructor
Sergo Gelitashvili is a certified security management professional with over two decades of experience in diplomatic protection, physical security, and administrative operations. He currently serves as the Head Guard and Security Supervisor at the British Embassy in Tbilisi, where he manages the daily operations of the embassy’s security force, supervises emergency protocols, and ensures the safety of personnel, visitors, and assets.
Mr. Gelitashvili holds a Bachelor’s degree in International and Local Telecommunication Systems from Georgian Technical University and also completed a Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP) from the International Security Management Institute (ISMI). His qualifications include advanced training in project management, emergency response, document fraud, communication, first aid, and leadership—completed through the Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s Regional Training Centre, the British Council, and other international institutions.
From 2004 to 2007, he served as Security and Administrative Assistant at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, where he was responsible for internal security, visa processing, IT support, and operational logistics. At the British Embassy (Georgia, Tbilisi) in 2010, he has led teams of officers and coordinated emergency drills, reporting protocols, and security readiness.
Currently he holds the Security Manager position at Hunnewell Cement as well as as a security consultant and instructor at CASE, delivering training and services in corporate and physical security.
