At 4:00 p.m. (EST) on February 2, the United States Central Command conducted a series of airstrikes against Quds Force and its affiliates in Iraq & Syria
United States aircraft used in the attacks included long-range bombers flown from the US mainland
The airstrikes, which employed more than 125 precision munitions were a response to past attacks on American forces alleged to be undertaken by Iranian proxies
The facilities targeted in the airstrike include command & control operation centers, intelligence centers, rockets, missiles, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) storages and logistics and munition supply chain facilities of IRGC-sponsored militias.
