Britain is considering of supplying Ukraine with the DragonFire laser system, which can destroy hostile missiles and drones.

The breakthrough weapon will be on Royal Navy vessels by 2027, but since the military is utilizing "advanced" technologies more quickly, it may be employed in Ukraine even sooner.

DragonFire has a classified range and travels at the speed of light. It can burn through sheet metal, fuselage, and weaponry in a matter of seconds, quickly converting metal surfaces into 3000C plasma.

The Defense Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain announced the first test of the DragonFire long-range laser weapon on November 8, 2022, as Ukrainian News Agency previously reported.
